Monty Makers

Our Monty Makers strand of work houses all creative projects for children and young people in-house at The Monty! Look for our Monty Makers stamp on our website and social media to check out what we’ve been up to!

Recent Monty Makers projects include:

Youth Theatre of Sanctuary

Led by Stand and Be Counted Theatre: the UK’s first theatre company of sanctuary! We are immensely proud of this valuable work we are doing with children and parents from refugee families, including drama games, family activities and English classes for parents. The YTOS runs every Saturday from 10am-1pm at The Montgomery.

HAF Holiday Clubs

For children who are recipients of free school meals. This initiative, set up by Marcus Rashford, is an invaluable addition to the work we are doing here at The Montgomery, offering free childcare, healthy food and fun theatre-themed activities for young thespians in the holidays when local families need it most.

Family Fun Days

Run at The Montgomery including drama games, food and fun for all the family! So far, these events have been hugely popular in our local community.

Movies at The Monty Cinema

A club for kids, run with Melissa Sorell and incorporating film themed activities to inspire our young audiences!
